If your NVM-Series Voice Mail does not have DS2000 as a menu selection in
IN -
INSTALL SYSTEM
, do the following:

Set up the Voice Mail database.

Select
IN - Install System
2.
Reinstall the Voice Mail for DS01/VS (24 x 72) and customize the
trunk numbers to begin with 401.

Change the Voice Mail Call Pickup String.
1.
Select
CU - Customize Database
.
2.
Select
SO - System Options
.
3.
Change the
Call Pickup String
option to
W**
.
●
Change the Voice Mail Park and Page String.
1.
Select
CU - Customize Database
.
2.
Select
MO - Mailbox Options
3.
Enter the extension’s mailbox number (e.g., 300 for extension 300).
4.
For the mailbox selected (e.g., 300), change the
Park/Paging string
option to: FW**nnn/*10 (where nnn is the extension’s number).
For extension 300, for example, the string would be FW**300/*10.
●
Change the Voice Mail Off Hook Call Announce and Ringdown
Strings.
The Ringdown String is required for Voice Mail Call Announce
options 1, 2 and 3. The Off Hook Call Announce String is required
for Voice Mail Call Announce Options 2 and 3.

Select
CU - Customize Database

Select
SO - System Options
.
3.
Change the
Off Hook Call Announce String
option to: 9P@A|2.
This option may not be available on all Voice Mail systems.
4.
Change the
Ringdown String
to B (DTMF digit B).
This option may not be available on all Voice Mail systems.
