SMB Event Code Tables
Types of Events
The Server Management Board (SMB) sends the following types of events:

Chassis-specific Single Byte Events
•
SMB Firmware Events
•
SMB Hardware Events
•
SMB POST Events
•
Chassis Events
Each of the following tables shows the mnemonic event message, the event code in decimal, the
event code in hexidecimal, and a brief description of the meaning of the event message.
The decimal event codes are displayed via the Server Management Board Proxy agent and the
SMB Modem Transport, as well as on any pager calls initiated by the SMB. The hexidecimal
codes are displayed by the DMI Browser agent.
