Maintenance
Be su re to p ress POWE R to set the player to the standby mode and discon nect the
AC a daptor before main taining the player.
Wipe the pl ayer w ith a d ry, soft cloth .
If the surfac es are extre mely dirty ,wipe clean with a cloth wh ich has been dippe d
in a w eak s oap-an d-water solution and wrung out thoroughly, and then wipe aga in
with a dry c loth.
Never use alcohol, benzine, thinner, clean ing fluid or o ther ch emicals. And do not use
compresse d air to remo ve dust
If the disc is brought from a cold to a warm environment
moist ure may form on the disc
Wi pe this moist ure off with a soft, dry, lin t-free cloth b efore using the dis c.

If the surface is soiled

When wiping discs, alway s mov e the c loth fr om the centr e hole towar d the o utside , whic h
will no t cause disto rtion. ( If you wipe t he disc s usin g a cir cular motion , circu lar scr atches are
likely t o occu r, whic h will cause distortion.)
