Step 7: Connect the SMD-7620/7621 to the Motor
Caution
Do not connect or disconnect the motor with the power on.
NI offers NEMA 23 and NEMA 34 stepper motors matched to the SMD-7620/7621. When
connecting these motors to the SMD-7620, connect them in parallel as shown in Figure 6.
Note
Motor wire colors are correct for NI stepper motors compatible with the
NI SMD-7620/7621. These wire colors may not match a third-party stepper motor.
