ESU.COM is an enhancement selection utility that
allows you to change text and graphics modes through
a menu-driven program.
Do not attempt to set a text or graphics
mode that your monitor cannot support. See Chapter
4 for
monitor requirements.
Follow these instructions to use ESU.COM:

Make the Utilities sub-directory the default
directory. If you have not installed the Utiliies,
follow the directions earlier in this section.
At the system prompt, type ESU and press
ENTER
.
You see
the ESU menu.
Select the text or graphics mode you want
from the list on the screen (use the
UP
and
DOWN
arrow keys).
You can bypass the ESU menu and set text and
graphics modes from the system prompt. For exam-
ple, from the Utilities sub-directory, type
ESU
/mode
and press
ENTER

mode
is the text
or graphics mode you want to set.
See Chapter 4 for a list of text and graphics modes.

detect any problems with the VGA circuitry.

is not compressed, it can be run
the diskette.
