The following
explains each of the options you can set at the com-
mand line.
HTVGA
enables CGA compatibility mode.
HTVGA CGA:LOCK enables CGA compatibility mode
which will remain in effect through one warm boot
allowing the use of self-booting CGA
programs.
HTVGA CGA:OFF disables CGA compatibility mode.
MONO:ON enables HGC compatibility mode.
HTVGA MONO:LOCK enables HGC compatibility
mode which will remain in effect through one warm
boot
HlVGA MONO:OFF disables HGC compatibility
mode.
HTVGA MONO:FULL enables 64
(two-page)
HGC compatibility.
HTVGA MONO:HALF enables 32 KB (one-page)
HGC
PURE:ON configures the VGA for only pure
IBM VGA standard modes; it disables all extended
modes.
HTVGA PURE:OFF enables all
VGA
extended
modes.
SAVE:ON enables the screen saver; it blanks
the screen when there has been no keyboard activity
for minutes.
HTVGA
lets you change the number of
minutes before the screen saver blanks the display
(where is the number of minutes from 1 to 99).
SAVE:OFF disables the screen saver.
HTVGA
disables the screen saver.
