Replacing the cleaning wiper     121

[8]

Follow the steps below to install new cleaning wiper.

• Slide the front side of the new cleaning wiper into its slot.

• Press the wiper hook down until it clicks into place.

Important!

Do NOT touch the cleaning wiper rubber with your bare hand.

If finger oil gets on the rubber, it will damage the print head.

Hold the tab on the maintenance cover as shown on the left to gently 
close the cover.

When closing the maintenance cover, hold the tab on the maintenance cover to gently close it.

Do not place your fingers on the edges of the printer’s opening portion, or on any parts around those edges. Your fingers could 
get caught and be injured.

Press the [Enter] key.

• The message on the left will appear.

• That ends the procedure.
