• Do not smoke.
• Wear protective clothing, protective gloves, and safety glasses / facial protection.
Preparatory steps
1.
Close fuel inlet line.
2.
Drain fuel (→ Page 90).
HP fuel line and pressure pipe
neck – Replacement
1.
Remove leak fuel line from cylinder head.
2.
Remove HP fuel line (2).
3.
Remove thrust screw (4).
4.
Withdraw pressure pipe neck (5).
5.
Coat sealing ring of new pressure pipe neck
with grease.
6.
Coat sealing cone of pressure pipe neck with
engine oil.
7.
Insert pressure pipe neck into cylinder head
until it is in contact with the sealing ring.
8.
Fully press in pressure pipe neck by hand.
