6.10.3 Mixture coolant - Draining

Preconditions

☑ Engine shut down and starting disabled.

WARNING

Coolant is hot and under pressure.

Risk of injury and scalding!

• Let the engine cool down.

• Wear protective clothing, gloves, and goggles / safety mask.

Draining charge-air coolant

1.

Provide a suitable receptacle to catch the coolant.

2.

Open drain valve in the coolant line to the mixture cooler (see documentation of genset manufacturer)

and drain coolant.
