Use the toolbar on the
RDM
main screen to perform the functions listed under the menu items in Table 4-2 .
Manage Static IP Address Opens the
Manage Static IP Address
window.

Custom DHCP Options Displays the
Customer DHCP Options
window. Use this window to
add/edit/remove DHCP options available within the Symbol RDM.
Options Customizes Remote Device Manager options such as FTP security and
broadcast IP address. See
Setting RDM Options on page 4-14 .

Component Description
Tool Bar Contains buttons that invoke most common functions of RDM.
Discover all devices on the network
and display the Discovered Devices
list. To stop discovery, click the
Cancel Discovery button.
Select all devices listed in the
Discovered Devices list.
Deselect all devices. Retrieve the configuration file from
the selected device.
Push the configuration file to the
selected device(s). Abort pushing the configuration file
to device(s).
Create an MK1200 device
configuration file using the RDM. Retrieve device specific
information.
Cold boot the selected device. Turns on and off the Filter
Parameters panel.
