If the mobile computer was connected to the host computer when the host computer was started, remove the
mobile computer from its cradle, restart the host computer, and then return the mobile computer to its cradle.

Performing a soft reset on the mobile computer can be useful. Remove the mobile computer from its cradle
before doing a soft reset. Restart iDockIt and then recradle the mobile computer.

General Setup Options
Settings on the
General
tab complement the options you set for your cradle.

Enable IDockIt
Check this option to enable iDockIt to control cradle events. When you cradle your handheld mobile computer,
iDockIt identifies the type of cradle and perform the activities you have configured.
Uncheck this option to restore control of cradle events to Microsoft ActiveSync.
Display Status When Cradled
Check this option to display the iDockIt
Status
tab when you cradle the mobile computer. If you also checked
Display
settings when cradled, you first see the
Settings
tab for the type of cradle detected and then the
Status
tab
after the specified time elapses.
Uncheck this option to prevent display of the iDockIt Status tab when you cradle the mobile computer.
Display Settings When Cradled
Check this option to display the cradle settings tab when you cradle the mobile computer. You can also check
Auto
connect after x seconds
to have iDockIt wait a specified time before creating a connection. The delay gives you the
opportunity to review/change cradle settings. During this waiting period, you can select either
or
in the
menu bar to connect immediately or cancel automatic connection.
Uncheck this option to prevent display of the cradle settings tab.
WARNING

If you do not check this option (or if you check this option but do not specify the number of
seconds), iDockIt displays the cradle settings tab when you cradle the mobile computer but does
not attempt to establish a connection.
