System Description
The T12 incorporates wireless electrocardiographic technology to achieve the real-time acquisition and RF transmission
of simultaneous 12-lead ECG data with diagnostic quality while allowing the patient to be ambulatory. Transmission to
a Mortara receiver module allows the cardiac signals to be displayed on a monitoring device without direct connection to
an electrocardiograph.
The T12S integrates wireless electrocardiographic and SpO
2
technology in one device to achieve the real-time
acquisition and RF transmission of simultaneous 12-lead ECG data with diagnostic quality, SpO
2
measurement values,
and waveform data while allowing the patient to be ambulatory. Transmission to a Mortara receiver module allows the
cardiac signals and SpO
2
measurements to be displayed on a monitoring device without direct connection to an
electrocardiograph or separate SpO
2
device. In addition, by using a very high monitoring frequency to transmit cardiac
and SpO
2
signals the diagnostic bandwidth of the signals is maintained.
The T12/T12S affords the patient complete freedom of movement. Unlimited range can be obtained by using Mortara’s
antenna network units.
The T12/T12S uses a single AA battery.
The following equipment is necessary to use the T12/T12S:
One AA battery, 1.5V
Mortara receiver module with antennas
LeadForm ECG cable
SpO
2
sensor cable (for T12S only)
