Viewing Software Version Number
VERSION
displays the current software version installed in the T12/T12S.
Viewing Battery Voltage
BATTERY
displays the voltage of the battery currently installed in the T12/T12S.
Setting AC Line Frequency
LINE FREQ
is used to set the transmitter equipped with pulse oximetry to an AC line frequency of 50 Hz or 60 Hz.
Use

to scroll to the desired frequency and press

Starting a Transmission Session
1.
Hookup the patient.
2.
Ensure an AA battery is in the battery compartment (see note below).
3.
Press
Up
to turn the T12/T12S on (if not already powered on by battery insertion and cover application).
4.
Use
LEAD CHECK
to check the electrode-to skin impedances and verify patient hookup quality as explained
in this section.
5.
Use
DISPLAY ECG
to verify the amplitude and signal quality of each ECG lead as explained in this section.
6.
Use
DISPLAY SPO2
to verify the pulse oximetry sensor application quality as explained in this section.
7.
Return to the main menu.
NOTE: If battery voltage is below 1.0 volts, the T12/T12S may not power on. Insert a new AA battery to
continue operation.
During normal operation,
Ch: xx
(channel number), patient ID (if entered; applies to T12S only) and
battery
indicator are continuously displayed on the LCD.
If the cover is opened during transmission, the T12/T12S stops transmitting. The cover must be applied and a
battery must be inserted to continue operation.
NOTE: If a lead fail condition occurs during operation, the appropriate lead fail indicator(s) is displayed
in the center of the LCD display.
