Configuring the T12/T12S
Service settings are typically set before the initial patient session and do not need to be set on a per patient basis.
From the start up menu, press
Up
to enter the SERVICE menu. (See operational flowchart in
Main Menu
.)
The
SERVICE
menu includes:
CHANNEL
CABLE
LANGUAGE
VERSION
BATTERY
LINE
FREQ
DONE
Use the
Up/Down
buttons to navigate to a service menu option; press
Call
to select. When finished, press
Call
to
return to the service menu options.
To return to the main menu, navigate to
DONE
and press
Call
.
Setting the Transmission Channel Number
The T12/T12S transmits the patient’s cardiac signals to the electrocardiograph using a specific channel number.
CHANNEL
is used to enter the optimal transmission channel number before starting a patient session. The user
may choose from any of 256 channels. If ECG signal loss occurs, the transmission channel can be changed.
To enter the channel number, move the cursor to the right or left alphanumeric character field by pressing
Up
. To
move the cursor one letter or digit at a time, press
Down
. When the cursor reaches the end of the characters it will
wrap to the beginning.
Setting the Number of ECG Cable Lead Wires
CABLE
is used to set the number of lead wires for the ECG cable:
4 lead wire
5 lead wire
10 lead wire
Use
Up/Down
to scroll to the desired lead wire and press
Call
.
NOTE: When a 4-wire or 5-wire ECG cable is selected, only the limb leads (and a V label with the 5-wire
cable) will appear in
LEAD CHECK
,
DISPLAY ECG,
and lead fail messages.
NOTE: The 4-wire ECG cable is currently not available for the T12/T12S.
Setting Language
LANGUAGE
is used to select the language displayed in the main menu and all sub-menu options. Use
Up/Down
to scroll to the desired language and press
Call
.
