Replacing Blade Sets (continued)

Slide the blade adjustment assemblies

and the blade adjustment cams onto the

dowels of the new blade set

Slide the new blade set into the slots of

the creasing unit as shown

NOTE:

The blade can be fitted with the ANVIL at

the bottom or with the ANVIL at the top. The

blade set is supplied from the factory with

the ANVIL at the bottom. The blade can be

changed to have the ANVIL at the top, which

may improve the repeatability of the fold

relative to the crease for certain fold types or

when using lighter stocks.

NOTE:

For optional blade sets see “Optional Parts” in this section.

Rotate the blade adjustment cams until they are just tight, and then back off slightly.

Switche the machine on, reset blade to “Top Dead Centre” and make final adjustments.

Refit the Sheet Guide Assembly

Close the top cover

Test the crease for form
