Capturing Photos Using the Self-Timer
The self-timer allows you to capture a photo after a short delay.
This gives you time to move into the field of view so that you can be
included in the captured photo. Perform the following steps to
capture a photo using the Self-Timer:
1.
Power the camera ON.
2.
If you want to change the photo resolution and field of view
settings, perform the steps in the
Change the Photo
Settings
section above.
3.
If you want to change the delay time, perform the steps in
the
Changing the Self-Timer Delay
section above.
4.
Repeatedly press the
Power/Mode
button until the
Self-Timer
mode is
displayed.
5.
Press the
Shutter
button to start the Self-Timer. The photo
will be captured after the specified time interval has
elapsed.
Loop Recording
The Loop Recording feature allows you to continuously record a
series of 1 minute long videos. Once the microSD card gets filled to
within 800MB of its total capacity, the camera will automatically
delete older Loop files, so that it can continue recording. This mode
is very similar in operation to a video surveillance system and
allows you to review recent events. Perform the following steps to
begin Loop Recording:
