Connecting to an HDTV Using an HDMI Cable

You can connect the camera directly to an HDTV using a High
Speed HDMI Cable with an HDMI Mini Connector (not included) to
use the television as the camera's viewfinder. To do so, perform the
following steps:

Ensure that both the camera and the display are powered
OFF.

Plug one end of a High Speed HDMI Cable into the HDMI
Mini Connector port on the side of the camera.

Plug the other end of the cable into an available HDMI port
on your display.

Power the television ON.

Change the video input selection on your TV to the HDMI
port you connected the camera to.

Power the camera ON.
