Charging the Battery Using the USB Wall Charger
1.
Ensure that the camera is powered OFF.
2.
If you have not already done, install the battery using the
instructions above.
3.
Plug the included micro USB cable into the micro USB
charging port on the camera.
4.
Plug the other end of the cable into the included USB wall
charger.
5.
Plug the USB wall charger into a nearby power outlet.
Note that charging time using the included USB wall charger is
approximately 240 minutes for a fully depleted battery. Charging
times depend on the battery's charge level and the charging current
of the USB port. A computer's USB port typically produces 500mA
of charging current, while the included USB wall charger produces
1000mA of charging current.
