NVR Installation
This chapter describes the NVR installation procedure. Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS)
is highly recommended during system setup to prevent unnecessary data loss and system
damage caused by power fluctuation.
Unit Placement
Before powering up the MOBOTIX MOVE NVR-8/16, please avoid placing the NVR in any
space that reduces airflow to or from the unit. This can help preventing the unit from over-
heating. DO NOT operate the unit in areas with temperatures over 40 °C/104 °F.
This NVR utilizes heat-conducting design to transfer internal heat to the case, especially to
the bottom of the unit.
NOTE
DO NOT remove the rubber feet! Always leave an open space for air ventilation on the bot-
tom of the unit.
