Introduction

The Web User Interface

Adding Cameras

When cameras are found, they will appear in the

Available Cameras

section. See

Fig. 10: Adding cameras to

below.

Allow up to five minutes for new camera discovery. Some cameras, such as Samsung, will only make an
ONVIF announcement upon their startup. If the bridge is started

after

such a camera, it will need to be

power-cycled to be discovered.
You can add an available camera by clicking on the

Plus

button to the right of the camera’s name. When

adding a new camera, the camera will be configured, and a preview image of the camera will appear. Some-
times, the camera may take up to one minute or longer for the preview image to appear because some cam-
eras are very slow to configure and setup. You can now edit the camera settings or close this dialog box.
The preview image appears so that you can aim the camera. We recommend that you edit the settings of the
camera and enter a descriptive name.
