RECOMMENDATIONS
- Do not leave the EAPC and its electrical components in any place to which children have access :
there is a risk of electrocution.
- Do not dispose of the battery in the ordinary household rubbish when it is dead.
- This EAPC is supplied with 1 set of 2 identical keys : be sure to keep a duplicate in a secure
place.
- Do not place any pressure on the charger fl ex or the plug. There is a risk of electrocution or fi re if
you suspend the electric fl ex between a wall and a window frame, or if you place heavy objects
on the fl ex or the plug.
- Make sure that you fully insert the plug into the wall socket.
- Do not touch the plug if your hands are wet.
- Keep out of the reach of children and animals.
- Do not use the plug or the electric socket if they are covered in dust. Unplug and clean the plug
with a dry cloth.
- To remove the electrical fl ex from the wall socket, pull the plug - not the fl ex. Never tug or pull
strongly on the charger fl ex.
- Don’t turn the pedals if the battery is charging when it is installed on the bicycle. The fl ex may
wind itself round the pedals or the cranks and create a risk of electrocution or fi re.
- Do not use any plugs, connectors, or other cabling equipment, which have an electrical supply of
a different power rating to that recommended (110-240 volts AC).
- Do not use components such as the charger casing, the power cable, or the plug, if they are
damaged : replace them with original components.
- Once charging is fi nished, unplug the charger and disconnect the battery from the charger.
