Never pedal backwards when changing gear, and never use excessive force to turn the twist-grip
gear-changers.
. Instructions :
- Select 2nd gear (Nexus 3) or 4th gear (Nexus 8) with the twist-grip gear changer.
- Either undo or tighten the adjustment knob on the visible part of the derailleur so
as to tauten or slacken the cable. The moveable indicator must be between the two
yellow markers.
- Try changing up and down through the gears whilst checking that the axle still
makes contact with the derailleur end stop.
3. TYRE PRESSURES :
Infl ate your tyres to the correct pressure.
You must adhere to the tyre pressure range shown by the manufacturer on the side of the tyre.
- Front and rear tyre pressure: 35 PSI / 2.5 bar.

Never use a high-pressure pump or a non-regulated pump.
Never ride with incorrectly infl ated tyres.
4. CHAIN TENSION :
There should be about 1 cm of vertical play in a correctly tensioned chain.
- The tension is adjusted by means of the chain tensioner located on the attachment
plate on the rear wheel.
- The chains which are used on our bikes must be lubricated occasionally. Use a
lubricant specifi cally designed for use on chains or tefl on.

VERY IMPORTANT
When lubricating the chain, ensure that the oil does not come into contact with the braking
surfaces.
