Dismantling or assemble of the electric wheel in front :
During the assemble of the wheel, watch to squeeze every nuts in a simultaneous
way (tightening right nut and left nut at the same time and in equal couple.
> RISK OF BREAK-IN OF THE ENGINE IN CASE OF BAD MANIPULATION.

BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME
- The battery must be charged before it is used for the fi rst time, either on the EAPC or when
removed from it.
- First, connect the charger supplied to the battery, and only once you have done this plug the
charger into the mains. The charger’s power supply indicator will show red. When charging has
been completed, this indicator turns green. The duration of the fi rst full charging process is
about 6 hours (if the battery was empty).
- Unplug the charger.
- In order to obtain optimal battery performance, the user must ensure that the battery is allowed
to fully discharge and then fully recharge for the fi rst 10 discharge/charging cycles.
The battery will then be able to be recharged at any time, as it will no longer suffer from the
‘memory effect’.
. MOTOR AND BATTERY WARRANTY :
- The battery is guaranteed to conform to its technical specifi cation, but it cannot under any
circumstances be guaranteed for a specifi c mileage as this depends on too many external factors
(weight carried, hills, wind, ambient temperature, tyre pressures etc...)
- In winter temperatures your usual range may be reduced by about 20%.
- The service life of the lithium battery is greater than 600 charging /discharging cycles, or between
2 and 4 years depending on use. After this period, the range will inevitably decline gradually.
- The warranty excludes damage resulting from failure to follow the above instructions or from
incorrect use in general, from outdoor parking which encourages corrosion, or resulting from any
non-compliant or non-standard electrical installation which may damage the battery and/or the
charger.

CAUTION
The warranty is subject to the batteries being recharged at least every two months (6-hour
minimum charge time).
. INSTALLING AND REMOVING THE BATTERY :
1- In order to place the battery in its holder, ensure that the key is turned to the left (contact switch
pawl «retracted»).
2- Position the battery on its holder and turn the key one notch to the right (battery-locking
position).
3- In order to switch on the electrical system, turn the key another notch to the right (ignition
switched on).
4- To switch the electrical circuit off, turn the key one notch to the left.
5- To remove the battery, turn the key two notches to the left whilst pushing the lock.
