3 Vehicles with a DUONIC system

3.1

Engaging the PTO

1. Make sure the parking brake is applied.

2. Make sure the gearshift lever is in the “P” posi-

tion.

3. Hold down the brake pedal and start the engine.

When the engine has warmed up, keep it idling.

4. Check that the

indicator lamp is not flashing.

If it is flashing, perform parked DPF regenera-

tion before engaging the PTO.

5. Push the PTO switch to turn it on.

6. The indicator on the multi-information display

will come on. When PTO engagement is com-

plete, the indicator will come on.

NOTE:

Depending on conditions, the indicator may not

come on. This phenomenon does not mean there is

an abnormality.

3.2

Disengaging the PTO

Push the PTO switch to turn it off. Check that the

and indicators on the multi-information display
