Configuring GX IEC Developer to access the PLC
on Ethernet
Please make the following settings in order to access the PLC via an Ethernet network and an
Ethernet interface module.

Online
menu, select
Transfer Setup
and then
Ports
:

The default connection is for the
PC Side I/F
to use serial connection to the PLC CPU mod-
ule. Change the
PC Side I/F
to
Ethernet board
by clicking on it as shown above, and say-
ing
Yes
to the question about present setting will be lost (i.e. the setting of serial to CPU).
