Using the front panel controls
The computer has only a few front panel controls and
activity indicators, and is very simple to use.

BUTTON
The
POWER
button is used to turn the computer on and off.
The green indicator in the button lights when the system is
powered. This button also controls the power supply through
the AC power outlet to the monitor.
There are two activity indicators on the front panel:
Inactive
Active
Meaning when active
The computer is using a 3.5"
diskette drive, a 5.25" floppy disk
drive or an FTD (floppy tape
drive).
The computer is using a hard disk
drive, a CD-ROM drive or a SCSI
QIC or SCSI DDS tape drive.
