12. When the clone is complete, the Slave Dialer’s LED will turn a solid red colour, and the
Master Dialer’s LED will flash a green colour. If the clone failed, then the Slave Dialer’s
LED will turn to a solid red colour, and the Master Dialer’s LED will flash a red colour. To
retry a failed cloning attempt, simply power down the Slave Dialer, and then re-apply the
power back to the Dialer
13. Another cloning session may be started once the Slave Dialer’s LED turns to a solid red
colour. Remove the Slave Dialer that was successfully cloned, and replace it with the next
Slave Dialer. This process may be continued for as many times as is desired.
14. The only way that the Master Dialer can exit from Clone Master Mode is to power down
the Dialer
6. 14. Initialise Lockout (942 968 n)
If the Initialise Lockout feature is enabled, an attempt to
✳
initialise a Dialer will not produce a
default load or any other result, unless a checksum error is indicated. This feature is enabled by
entering the command 942 968 1, and it is disabled by entering the command 942 968 0.
Initialise Lockout is also disabled by any one of the following reasons:
•
issuing any command that causes a default load, including the command 942 903
•
successfully initialising the Dialer
•
an automatic default load.
The default condition of the Initialise Lockout feature is disabled. The condition of this feature
being enabled is not transmitted during a cloning process. If Initialise Lockout is desired in a
Slave Dialer, it must be explicitly enabled after it is disconnected from the cloning cable and
powered-up at the end of the cloning process.
Note: Once this feature is activated, the only way to enter into programming mode is with the
passwords defined in the 60X Registers. If the passwords are unknown, the unit can only have
this feature disabled at a Mitel Repair Centre.
6. 15. Display Serial Number (970)
When the command 970 is entered while in modem programming mode, the serial number of
the Dialer is displayed. The serial number is also displayed with the log-on banner
