Note: Although this equipment can use either loop disconnect or MF4 signalling, only the
performance of MF4 signalling is subject to regulatory requirements for correct operation. It is
therefore strongly recommended that the equipment be set to use MF4 signalling for access to
public or private emergency services. MF4 signalling also provides faster call set up.
