This may cause a risk of fire or electrical shock

Damage from heat – fire hazard

Do not leave the night vision device in places where the

temperature can rise sharply

(eg inside a vehicle) This could

lead to damage of the housing and internal parts, which in turn

could cause a fire

Do not wrap the night vision device in or place it on textiles.

This could lead to a build-up of heat in the night vision device that

can cause deformation of the housing and may induce a fire hazard

Battery safety

Always change all batteries at the same time

Before inserting the batteries, make sure the battery contacts and

the contacts in the device are cleaned

Before disposal of the night vision goggles, first remove the batter-

ies and dispose of them separately

or if the wrong type of batteries is used Only use LR6 (AA) 15V

batteries or NiMH batteries with the same specification

Do not expose the batteries to excessive heat

 such as direct

battery acid comes into contact with the skin,

 wash the area of

skin immediately with plenty of soap and water

Avoid battery acid from coming into contact with your eyes If you

do get battery acid in your eyes, flush them thoroughly with plenty

of water and contact a doctor immediately

the batteries according to battery regulations

Injuries and damage to device

Otherwise, the device may fall or tip over and cause injury to people

or damage to the product

Do not use the night vision device while running or driving.

You could trip or cause a traffic accident

Damage

to the electronics, the display or the lens, which were

caused by

external influences
