6.3 Reduction
Originals that are longer than the recording paper, can be reduced along
the longitudinal axis. Three reduction rates are available: 90 %, 84 % and
70 %. The factory-setting is OFF.

Press [SET].
REDUCTION OFF

Press [MENU] to select the desired
reduction rate.
REDUCTION 90%

Press [SET]. A beep confirms the entry.

The setting is active until it is changed again manually.
If you select OFF in step 3, the machine still reduces the copy to 97 % if it
would be printed on two pages. To change this setting use software switch
No. 50.
