Power Save Mode
The power save mode reduces the energy consumption of the
Minoltafax 1300 in standby mode from approximately 6 W to approxi-
mately 2.5 W. The factory-setting for the power save mode is on. To
change the setting set software switch no. 13 to off. (cf. "Programming
User Software Switches“).
The power save mode is activated, if for 5 minutes:
l
no key is pressed.
l
no call comes in.
l
the receiver of the connected telephone is not lifted.
The display shows the message:
**POWER SAVE**
If any of the conditions named above is not met, the machine switches to
standby mode.

Use the fax software to switch the power save mode off, if you want
to operate the machine in fax mode, scanner mode or printer mode.
3.10 Redial
If a transmission fails, the Minoltafax 1300 automatically redials the
number to try the transmission again. You can also start the redial process
manually by pressing [REDIAL/P].
It is only possible to start the manual redial as long as the document is in
the document feeder. You may also start the redial with the connected
telephone. For this, lift the receiver or press
and
[REDIAL/P] to redial
the last number.
The factory-setting of the machine is to redial three times for timer trans-
missions and twice for all other transmissions. You can change these
settings with the software switches No. 05 and No. 06. (cf. "Programming
User Software Switches".)
