Loading Media

Tray 2 (Optional Lower Feeder Unit Media Tray) 

Depending on which tray you have purchased, letter or A4 plain paper can be 
printed from Tray 2.

Slide the media tray open.

2

Push the media pressure plate down to 
lock it in position.

3

Load the paper face-up, short edge (or 
letterhead) toward the right of the tray.

Often, an arrow on the media package label 
indicates the printing-side of the media.
Do not overfill the tray.

A fill limit mark is provided on the 
inside of the tray. Tray 2 holds 500 
sheets of 22 lb bond (80 g/m²) 
paper.
