 Optional Lower Feeder Unit and Tray 2

Remove the media support from 
Tray 1.

Lift the support slightly and snap it 
gently out of the printer.

Remove the lower feeder unit from the 
shipping carton, and place it on a table 
or flat surface near the printer.

Remove any tape and packing material 
from the lower feeder unit.

We strongly suggest that you save 
the packing materials in case you 
ever need to move or ship the 
printer.

Open the right door of the lower feeder 
unit.

Attention

Be sure that the right door of the lower feeder unit is open when the 
lower feeder unit is attached to the printer; otherwise, the printer may 
fall off or the lower feeder unit may be damaged.

With another person’s help, place the printer onto the lower feeder unit.

WARNING!

Your printer weighs approximately 62 lbs (28 kg) fully assembled. Be 
sure to have help when lifting and moving it.
