At the end of transmit, S8… starts the line. If not, refer to the
Troubleshooting section.

Once the entire file is transmitted, enter the command
end
.
NOTE:
It will type over the S8… line.
The following messages appears as the image is upgraded:
Converting S-record file to binary image….complete
Flashing firmware image….complete
Reset access point to begin using saved configuration
OK

Enter
reset
or disconnect/reconnect the CAT5 cable.

Close the HyperTerminal window by selecting the “X” in the upper-right corner. At the
confirmation message, select
Yes
to save the connection and program more access
points.

Telnet to the access point by entering the static IP address. While in the Telnet window,
verify the configuration of the Ethernet_MAC and RF_MAC values to match the values
specified on the label on the back of the access point. If these are not configured, use
the following commands at the telnet prompt.
EthernetMediaAccessControl xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx
RadioMediaAccessControl xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx.xx
