4. Align one of the fitting's

5. Hold  tool  securely. 

Press and hold the trig-

ger. Two LEDs will light 

the workpiece when the 

trigger is pulled.

6. 

Once engaged, the tool 

automatically completes 

its  cycle.  Release  the 

trigger.

7. 

When the cycle is complete the tool will switch off, 

return, and the indicator will light. See "Indicators" 

for more information.

8. Inspect and correct the crimp according to the fit

-

ting manufacturer's instructions and local codes. 

Use the supplied gauge to determine if the flash/

flag is within the acceptable range. If the flash/

flag extends beyond the notch allowed, perform 

a test crimp on a spare piece of PEX to determine 

if there is damage to the jaws (see "Jaws" in the 

Maintenance section).

Using 

Crimp Jaws for use with Fittings designed to 

F1807 & F2159 standards

1. Insert battery pack.

2. Prepare the materials according to the manufac

turer's instructions.            

3. Place  jaws  around  the

 

fitting.

Inserting/Removing the Jaws

1. Remove the battery pack. 

2. Push in, then rotate the retaining pin counterclock

-

wise 90°. The pin will pop out.

3. Insert the jaws. Line up the center hole with the 

retaining pin. 

4. Push in the retaining pin, then rotate clockwise 

90°. 

CAUTION

Do not operate the tool without the 

retaining pin fully inserted and locked 

into position. Damage to the tool may occur.

OPERATION

WARNING

Use only correctly sized jaws and 

fittings. Jaws and fittings must be 

used in an approved combination. Others may 

result in faulty connections, which could cause 

property damage.

Keep hands away from jaws while tool is in use. 

Fingers could be crushed. 

Always  remove  battery  pack  before  changing 

or removing accessories. Only use accessories 

specifically recommended for this tool. Others 

may be hazardous.

To reduce the risk of injury, wear safety goggles 

or glasses with side shields.

Using the Tool

Before pressing:

• Jaws and fittings must be used in an 

APPROVED 

COMBINATION. Improper combinations can result 

in a faulty connection.

• Inspect the jaws for cracks or other damage. Do not 

use damaged jaws. Contact a MILWAUKEE service 

facility.

• Ensure retaining pin is properly seated.

• For Press Jaws, check for flash/flag (see "Jaws" in 

the Maintenance section). 

• Inspect and discard workpieces with cracks or wear 

before use. Materials may crack or shatter.

• Follow fitting manufacturers' installation instructions. 

Other uses may cause damage to the tool, acces-

sories, and workpiece.
