The upper panel features a
FULL CONTAINER LED
(
K
), which lights up amber when the container is full, as
shown in the following figure.
You will also hear an audible alarm.
A 20L tank is supplied with the unit. It can be quickly replaced when the waste container becomes full.
NEW FIXATIVE CONTAINER
The new tank containing fixative can be positioned on the container transport trolley in order to load the fixative
in the containers containing the baskets with the trays of the recently cut samples.
The container is NOT provided.
An example is shown in the figure.
When the LED switch on, unload the tank in un an appropriate tank in according to the
current regulations. Never unload into the tank when the LED is ON, you risk to have a fluid
leakage
Only drain fixative type reagents, like ethanol, Formaldehyde 10% volume/volume (4%
weight/weight), zinc formalin (no chloride), FineFIX, and alcohol-based fixatives.
Unscrew the cap to empty the container, then reposition the cap properly.
