2.  eGROSS pro-x/ eGROSS INSTALLATION 

 
 
This chapter and the following chapters describe all the functions of the eGROSS pro-x and eGROSS units. 
The eGROSS instrument has all the same functions as the eGROSS pro-x unit, with the exception of those 
relating to the PC and the camera, as shown in the following images.

The Milestone eGROSS pro-x/eGROSS unit is a precision instrument that must be unpacked and  installed 
with the utmost care. 
 
Make sure that the unit is at level and vibration free and not in contact with flammable material. 
 
Make sure that the unit has not been placed against any lateral surfaces that might limit the intake/discharge 
of cooling air. 
 
Make  sure  the  unit  is  not  exposed  to  direct  currents  of  air  on  the  work  surface  (e.g.  air  conditioners,  fans, 
windows, etc.) that could alter the system of flows.
