Programme options

52

Delay start

There are three ways of starting the pro-
gramme by means of delaying the start.
You can set the start time or the finish
time of a programme. You also have the
option of taking advantage of time vari-
able economy rates of electricity using
the 

EcoStart

 or 

SmartStart

 function.

When using the Delay start function,
make sure that the detergent com-
partment is dry before adding deter-
gent. Wipe dry with a cloth if neces-
sary. If the compartment is wet,
powder detergent can become
lumpy and stick to the dispenser,
with the result that it is not fully dis-
pensed.
Do not use liquid detergent when se-
lecting Delay start, as it can run into
the dishwasher before it is required.

To prevent children coming into

contact with dishwasher detergent:
add the detergent 

immediately be-

fore

 starting the programme, i.e. be-

fore activating delay start with 

OK

.

Then lock the door with the safety
lock.

Switch the dishwasher on using the

 sensor.

Select the programme you want from
the main menu.

Select the 

Delay start

 option from the

programme menu for the selected
programme.

You then have a choice of the 

Start at

,

Finish at

 and 

EcoStart

 or 

SmartStart

 func-

tions.

Select the function you want.

Now enter the time you want.

If, while you are setting the time, you do
not press any sensors for several
seconds, the display will revert to the
previous menu. You will then have to
enter your settings again. 
If you keep the 

+

 or 

-

 sensor pressed,

the value shown will automatically in-
crease or decrease.

If the time of day display has been
switched off (see "Settings menu,
Time of day") the display will go out 10
minutes after activating the Delay start
function and only the 

Start

 indicator

light will flash slowly.

To switch the display back on for a
few minutes press the 

 sensor.
