If the suit has been used but has not been contaminated a visual inspection should be undertaken to ensure
no damage has occurred. Before restorage into the supplied container the suit must be tested for leak-
tightness in accordance with EN 464. Follow the User Instructions supplied with the MICROCHEM internal
pressure test kit then follow the instructions below to connect to the exhalation valves fitted on the suit.

Exhalation Valve 2
Step 1: To remove the outer cover insert a small screw driver carefully between the lugs as shown. Turn the
valve cover anti-clockwise to unscrew and remove.
Step 2: carefully remove the diaphragm from the second exhalation valve by pulling the centre lug upwards.
Step 3: Locate the inflation and test plug and push into the valve body
Exhalation Valve 1
Located on the reverse of the hood are two exhalation valves
Step 1: To remove the outer cover insert a small screw driver carefully between the lugs as
shown. Turn the valve cover anti-clockwise to unscrew and remove.
Step 2: Insert the exhalation sealing plug and push into the valve body.
Step 3: place the retaining collar over the exhalation sealing plug and tighten clockwise
