Plugged interaction chamber (IXC)
CAUTION:
RELIEVE
PRESSURE BY SWITCHING THE MODE
SELECTOR TO THE OFF POSITION
PRIOR TO TRYING ANY REMEDY.
REVERSE THE POSITION OF THE IXC.
RUN THE UNIT UNTIL THE PRODUCT
FLOWS. RETURN PARTS TO THEIR
ORIGINAL POSITION. RUN
APPROPRIATE SOLVENT THROUGH
SYSTEM.
Short process piston
seal life
Chemical incompatibility
Check compatibility charts
Improper installation
Ensure proper installation
Damaged bearings, piston or bore of liquid end
body
Replace bearings, piston or liquid end
body

Feed reservoir empty
Fill feed reservoir and re-prime the
system
System not primed
Prime the system
Feed pressure too low

Reverse flow through
check valve
Check inlet check valve for correct
assembly, leakage, and/or blockage
Priming valve leaking
Ensure that the priming valve is shut
tight
Piston seal leaking
Replace piston seal
Processes faster than
normal; equipment will
not develop full
pressure
Chamber worn
Replace worn chamber
