How to carry out the measurement?
Step 1
•
Connect test cable (Plug commander or Universal test cable) to Instaltest 61557.
•
Set function switch to
R
LINE

L-N
position, L–N(L) voltage measurement
will start to run; see the figure below (left side):

Check the Frequency of mains voltage, pressing the
DISPLAY
key; see the
figure above (right side).
Step 2
•
Connect test cable
to tested object (mains outlet or other test terminals),
according to the figure 34. or 35. (phase to neutral measurement) or according
to the figure below (phase to phase measurement) .
