How to carry out the measurement?
Step 1
•
Connect test cable (Plug commander or Universal test cable) to Instaltest 61557.
•
Set function switch to
R
LOOP
, Isc U
L-PE
position, L–PE voltage measurement
will start to run; see the figure below (left side):

Check Frequency of mains voltage, pressing the
DISPLAY
key; see the figure
above (right side).
Step 2
•
Connect test cable
to tested object (mains outlet or other test terminals),
according to the figures below.
