4. Rotate the track until the plugs (Items 1 and 2,
) on the side of the final drive
cover plate are at the 12:00 and 3:00 position and turn off the engine.
a. Using an allen wrench, remove the plug (Item 2,
) that is in the 3:00 position.
b. Inspect the oil level. The proper amount of oil will be at or just below the plug opening.
c. If oil needs to be added, remove the oil fill plug (Item 1,
) and add the proper
oil through the upper plug opening until oil begins to run out of the oil level check plug
opening.
• Use only a quality non-leaded SAE 150 lubricant in the final drive.
• Make sure not to over tighten while reinstalling check plugs, damage to the aluminum hous-
ing cover plug holes can occur.
d. Reinstall and secure both oil level check plugs.
e. Repeat this procedure on the other track drive.
