3. Change the hydraulic filter. See Service Manual and
.
a. Remove the front cover (Item 10,
) to enable access to the filter assembly
(Item 9,
).
b. Remove the three bolts (Item 1,
) holding the filter cover (Item 2,
)
in place.
NOTE:
Press downwards on filter cover to relieve the upwards pressure from the spring.
c. Remove the filter cover and spring (Item 3,
d. Remove the filter element (Item 3,
) and replace with a new filter element.
e. Inspect the filter cover O-ring (Item 5,
) for any signs of wear or damage.
Replace as needed.
f. Reinstall spring and filter cover.
NOTE:
Make sure that the O-ring is properly seated in the filter cover.
g. Start and run the engine for about 30 seconds
Using the hydraulic oil level dip stick (Item 8,
), check the hydraulic oil level. Add
the appropriate hydraulic fluid as needed.
