
Logical Input
Description
Cal Acpt Allowed
Allows changes to controller calibration. When Off, you can still
run the calibration procedures, but there is no
Accept
button
available. See Calibrating Your Controller on page 46.
Force Comm SP
This input will force the Setpoint Method to Remote Serial, if
and only if
Ser Comm Lost
and
DF1 Timeout
both are Off. The
purpose of this input is to force the Setpoint Method to
Network
when network communication is working properly. If
communication fails, the setpoint method will revert back to
what was set in the Setpoint screen. See Setting the Setpoint
on page 15.
Rem Print Cmd
Sends the selected print string to the printer serial port.
Wt Simulator
Turns on the weight simulator. It is used for testing and training
purposes only. Map to
Always Off
. There will be a blinking
warning text in the Main Screen when this input is On.
Sim Blockage
Simulates a material-bridging problem in the Weight Simulator.
In normal operation this should be mapped to
Always Off
.
Timed Batching
Starts batching on time intervals rather than on Start Batch
commands. See
External Fault
A general purpose input, typically qualifying a Fault. In place for
stopping the feeder and indicate an
External Fault
in the Faults
screen.
Fill Gt Closed
This is normally connected to a limit switch on the fill gate to
indicate that the fill gate is closed. See
27. Map to
Always On
if unused.
Net Start Batch
Network Start Batch command. When turned on, if logical
output
Ready
is On, a batch is started. See Feeder State
Start Batch
button in the Action
Menu (page 17), this input and the
Rem Start Batch
input all
work in parallel. The same is true for all logical inputs that start
with
Net
.
Net Stop Batch
Network Stop Batch command. When turned on while batching,
the state switches to
Paused
.
Net Clear Batch
Network Clear Batch command. Immediately stops batching,
re-fill or cleanout. Batch statistics are not updated. The system
will end up in the Idle (Ready for Start) state.
Net Start Fill
Network Start Fill command. Immediately Starts a re-fill cycle.
This will happen regardless if you are running a batch or not.
Net Stop Fill
Network Stop Fill command. Immediately stops a fill cycle. If
input
Auto-Fill
is Off, the only way to stop a re-fill is to issue a
Stop Fill Command.
Net Start Clean
Network Start Cleanout command. Starts the cleanout
procedure, when the batching state in Idle.
Net Stop Clean
Network Stop Cleanout command. Aborts the ongoing cleanout
sequence and reverts to the Idle (Ready for Start) state.
Lock SP Method
Locks the Setpoint Method to the current selection. See Setting
the Setpoint on page 15.
