Setpoint method, and removes the setpoint method button.
Manual Setpoint Method
Manual Speed Setpoint
The
Manual Speed
setpoint method allows you to directly control the Speed Demand
output signal, in percent. The
Start/Stop
button allows you to directly control the
Fdr
Drive Enabl
logical output to start and stop the drive. See Logical Outputs on page 39.
The Manual Speed setpoint method is useful at Startup, when adjusting the Feeder Drive
or when troubleshooting.
NOTE:
You can only select the Manual Speed method when the controller is in the Idle state.
ACTION MENU
Pushing the
Action Menu
button anywhere takes you to the Action Menu. This is where
you start and stop the feeder and perform maintenance tasks.
Action Menu
This is what the Action Menu looks like when the feeder is in the Idle state, waiting for a
Start Batch command.
Batch Control Buttons
The
Start Batch, Clear Batch, Start Fill and Start Cleanout
buttons used for locally
controlling the feeder. The buttons are context sensitive, meaning that their availability
and caption changes with the feeder state. See Feeder States on page 6. There are also
logical inputs to remotely perform these functions. See Logical Inputs on page 35.
