cle and surroundings during the entire parking
procedure.

Start the vehicle.
#
Press button 1 .
The Active Parking Assist view appears on
the multimedia system display.

If the vehicle has been parked at right angles
to the direction of travel: in area 2 , select
direction of travel 3 .
% The vehicle path shown on the multimedia
system display may differ from the actual
vehicle path.

Confirm to start the exiting process.

WARNING Risk of accident due to vehi‐
cle swinging out while parking or pulling
out of a parking space
While parking or exiting a parking space, the
vehicle swings out and can drive onto areas
of the oncoming lane.
This could cause you to collide with objects
or other road users.
#
Pay attention to objects and other road
users.
#
Where necessary, stop the vehicle or
cancel the parking procedure with
Active Parking Assist.
#
If, for example, the
message appears in the multimedia system
display: select the corresponding transmis‐
sion position.
The vehicle moves out of the parking space.
