Note:
This is a 24 hour clock and tim e must
be entered in all fo u r digits. A 24 hour
clock counts time from m idnight to
midnight, that is 24 hours. A tim e of
4:28 PM therefore is cou n te d by this
clock as 16:28 hours (12 plus
4:28 hours).
Example 1: To enter 7:30 AM,
press b u ttons

Example 2: To enter 4:28 PM,
press b u ttons
ED , 0 3 , 03 , EES
The time entered is now stored. To
start the clock in accordance with a
time signal or other tim e reference,
again briefly press the recessed time
set button H
A colon sign will appear betw een the
second and third digits n » f « , to
indicate that the clock is actived.
Normally, the display panel will show
the frequency the radio is tuned to.
To display time
Briefly press the call b u tto n Q . The
tim e will be displayed fo r a few
seconds.
To use timers

Timer

can be used to a u to m a tic ­
ally turn the radio on at a preset
time. Timer
ED
can be used to turn
an accessory (e.g., seat heating
system ) on at a preset time. To set
either timer, the ignition key m ust be
in position “ 1” or “ 2 ” . Tim er E D can
only turn the radio on w ith the ignition
key in position “ 1” or “ 2 ” . Tim er
ED
can turn an accessory on w ith o u t the
ignition key inserted in the lock.
To set timers
Press either
ED
or
ED
button, key
desired turn-on tim e into tim e r as
explained under “ se ttin g of the
c lo c k ” . To activate tim er, e.g., to turn
radio on at the preset time,
press Q . A colon sign will appear
between the second and third digits
to confirm activation.
If, at any time, you w ould like to know
the tim e either tim er is set for,
depress either button

The time will be displayed on the
panel along with a No. 1 o r 2 fo r the
respective timer. A fte r a few seconds,
the display will change again to the
station frequency tuned to. To change
the turn-on time, proceed as outlined
under “ to set tim e rs” .
Note concerning tim er
ED
To connect any accessory to this
timer, a special relay is required which
can be plugged into the receptacle
provided on the radio. Separate
instru ctio n s are required fo r this
operation.
