Combination Switch
1 Low beam (turn lighting sw itch
clockw ise tw o notches)
2 High beam (turn lighting sw itch
clockwise tw o notches)
3 Headlamp flasher (high beam avail­
able independent of lighting switch
position)
4 Turn signals, right
5 Turn signals, left
To operate the turn signals, move the
com bination sw itch past the point of
resistance (up or dow n). The sw itch is
autom atically cancelled w hen the
steering wheel is turned by a large
enough angle.
To signal m inor directional changes of
the vehicle, such as changing lanes
on a highway, move com bination
sw itch to the point of resistance only
and hold it there.
6 Control fo r windshield w asher
system
When the washer system is
sw itched on, the w ipers also
operate.
7 W indshield wiper control
0 W indshield w iper sw itched off
1 Interm ittent wiping
II Normal wiper speed
III High wiper speed
Hints:
If one of the turn signals fails, the turn
signal indicator system flashes and
sounds at a faster sequence than
under normal operating conditions.
Fog lamps will only operate to g e th e r
w ith low beam headlamps. Fog lamps
are turned off autom atically when
lighting switch is returned to o ff-p o si­
tion.
