WARNING!
• Never plug in the plug if the deep-fryer
is not properly assembled and the
heating element is not covered with oil.
• Never attempt to boil water in the
deep-fryer.
• Switch off the deep-fryer and pull out
the plug when the deep-fryer is not in
use.
Overheating protection
The appliance is fitted with overheating
protection. If the product does not get hot this
could be because the overheating protection
has tripped.
Resetting the overheating protection
1. Pull out the plug.
2. Allow the product and the oil to cool.
3. When the oil has completely cooled, lift
up the control panel and use a pen or
equivalent to press the button to reset the
thermostat, on the inside of the control
panel.
4. Replace the control panel on the product
casing and continue deep-frying.

Filling and using the deep-fryer
basket
1. Put the food in the deep-fryer basket.
Do not overfill the deep-fryer basket to more
than 2/3rds of the depth of the basket.
Deep-fry small portions for optimum results
and shorter cooking times.
2. Lower the deep-fryer basket slowly into
the container to avoid splashing. Do not
put food into hot deep-frying oil.
3. Put on the lid and leave it in place during
the deep-frying.
4. Lift the lid carefully a little, to release the
steam, before removing the lid when the
deep-frying is ready. Keep your face and
hands out of the way when opening the
lid, otherwise there is a risk of scalding
from the hot oil.
5. Turn the temperature dial to MIN and
unplug the plug from the power point.
6. Lift up the deep-fryer basket with the
handle and put it on the hook so that the
oil runs out.

7. When the oil has run off, lift the basket
from the container to serve the food.
NOTE:
• Always use the deep-fryer basket.
• Always keep the lid of when deep-frying.
• Lower the deep-fryer basket slowly into
the hot oil. If the deep-fryer basket is
lowered too quickly into the oil there is a
risk of splashing or the oil overflowing.
• Put the lid on carefully.
• Steam is forced out under the edges of
the lid during the deep-frying.
• Do not stand too near the deep-fryer
when in use.
• Do not mix old and new oil.
• Change the oil the oil if it gets darker, if
it foams when heated, or if it smells or
tastes rancid, or if it becomes syrupy.
• Check that the food to be deep-fried is
dry.
• Remove any loose ice from frozen food
before deep-frying.
• The food should be divided into equal
parts for best results.
• Large pieces take longer to cook.
WARNING!
• Never put food in the basket when it is
in the oil.
